The pond work is done and ready for seeding in the spring or as weather will allow. The new, lighted fountain is in stock and will be installed yet this year. We have ordered White Amur (grass carp) to be stocked in the pond out front and the pond/canal system to the west to be delivered this Nov. We will want to take special care to see that they are not fished out. They will be our algae control and save the use of chemicals which is better for everybody.
The land behind Lots # 39, 40, 41, 42 and 43 is in the process of being filled in and re-graded to remove low spots and make a more attractive and workable yard. This ground will then be transferred over to the landowners for $1.00 for them to maintain and enjoy.
The tile and wet well area behind lot 43 was graded and rocked for the same reasons thus eliminating an eyesore seen from 197
With winter upon us there is not a lot going on in Eaglebrooke Subdivision at this time.

The front entrance pond has the grass growing but also the algae, so we have transplanted eight white amur or grass carp into the pond along with eight into the pond along Majorki Place. We hope you pass the word not to fish them out of the ponds. We will also be spraying for algae in the next few days in both ponds to try and get the algae under control till the fish can catch up.
We have received a few letters concerning grass on land that is not owned
by the subdivision developers, mainly on the north side of Eaglebrooke Parkway
backing up to the golf course. We have mowed this twice & have regarded
at the association's expense, but in the future it will be back in the hands
of the golf course, and that is where you will need to direct your calls.
We hope this work that was performed will allow for better care of that area
by the golf course.
